HOPPIRIGHT is the creative label of designer and illustrator Kirsten Hoppert. Words? Not really her thing. That’s why she’s always preferred to speak visually – sometimes funny, sometimes serious, always sharply observed. Her illustrations are drawn from what she sees: filtered, exaggerated, transformed. And if it fits, a little nonsense is more than welcome.

Some people observe the world around them – HOPPIRIGHT draws it. With humor, precision, and a sharp eye for the extraordinary in the everyday.

Behind HOPPIRIGHT is Kirsten Hoppert – illustrator, designer, and former award-winning furniture designer. Her work is mostly digital, yet always retains a handcrafted soul. Inspired by travel, life itself, and the subtle moments in between, she creates illustrations that make you smile, reflect, or feel – often all at once.

She studied interior architecture at the Academy of Art and Design in Halle. In 2000, she co-founded the design studio Vertijet with her partner, working successfully for many years in furniture and interior design. Her work received numerous international awards and gained worldwide recognition. But illustration was never just a tool for her – it has always been at the heart of her creative expression.

Over time, her focus shifted toward illustration and visual design. These days, most of her drawing happens on the iPad. In addition to her artistic projects, she develops brand identities and logos, advises small businesses on design strategy, creates websites, and illustrates for companies and publishers. She hasn’t lost her love for tangible products either – and if the mood strikes, she’s open to designing furniture and interiors again.

Kirsten Hoppert works with people who get her way of working – or are curious enough to try something new together. Her creativity isn’t mass-produced; it’s a process that needs the right fit. When the chemistry is right, great things can happen ;-)

Because in the end, it’s not just about drawing. It’s about telling stories.
